La Bohème is a new opera feature film written & directed by Olivier Award-winner, Robin Norton-Hale.

A classic reborn in 21st-century East London. A tale of love and tragedy, beauty and decay – Puccini’s La Boh?me is one of the world’s most-loved operas. Originally set in Paris, it has been wowing audiences since it was first performed in Turin at the end of the century.

This version was first performed on stage by the company Opera Up Close to huge critical acclaim, winning Best New Opera Production at the 2011 Laurence Olivier Awards. Continuing to perform to sellout audiences at London’s Little Opera House and London’s Soho Theatre, it has recently become the world’s longest continuously running opera.
